AIFG Subscriptions
There are one of two ways in which you can help:
Personal Subscription:
This allows you to participate and vote in our AGM, and to be nominated for a seat on the committee. As a valued member there will be many opportunities for you to shape the work of Aberdeen Interfaith Group and participate fully in all its activities. It provides an opportunity to acknowledge your own faith path at events and within the group. Your membership subscription helps to promote Aberdeen Interfaith as a whole in the work that we do all year round.
Organisational Subscription:
This level of subscription allows you to represent your organisation. You, along with your colleagues at events promote the work we do with your faith organisation. Symbols of your organisation may also be used when creating promotional documentation for events and booklets, further helping you to raise awareness of your faith organisation. A personal subscription is not required with this level of support.
We need regular subscriptions to help AIFG to do all the good work all year round and to help with the costs involved.

Why Join?
In joining AIFG you make visible your commitment to Interfaith. Membership is one way to raise the flag for the freedom of faith & belief. You are making a statement that you are part of this local group. Raising awareness to all our multi-faith communities and the city of Aberdeen.
Making a commitment makes a powerful statement in a low-commitment culture. Many non-faith groups require more of their members than our religious institutions. This is a sad reflection of our current culture. Ours is a consumer culture where everything is tailored to meet our needs and satisfy our preferences. When those needs aren’t met, we can always move on to the next product, or job, or person. Joining AIFG makes a counter-cultural statement. It says “I am committed to this group of people and they are committed to me.”
Membership keeps us accountable. When we join a group like this we are offering ourselves to one another to be encouraged, to serve, and be served. This membership is our opportunity to hold each other in responsibility and in love. By identifying ourselves with interfaith, we let everyone, including other members know that we intend to be committed in attendance, giving our time, and service.
Joining AIFG gives you an opportunity to be part of a wider community. When someone becomes a member, they make new friends, take part in decision making, have fun at different events, support others as well as being supported by others. Membership matters more than most people think. If you really want to be a counter-cultural revolutionary, then sign up.
