Public Statement of Solidarity
The Aberdeen Interfaith Group expresses its deep sorrow and condemnation following the recent attack on a synagogue in Manchester. An attack on any place of worship is an attack on the values of peace, respect, and community which we all hold dear.
We stand in solidarity with the Jewish community in Aberdeen, in Manchester, and across the country. At this difficult time, we wish to assure our Jewish friends and neighbours that they are not alone. The Jewish community is a valued and integral part of our city’s life, and we are committed to supporting them in every way possible.
Our Group exists to foster friendship and understanding across faiths, and we reaffirm our shared commitment to work together against hatred, intolerance, and division.
We call upon all people of goodwill to join us in rejecting violence and to continue striving for a society where every community may live and worship in peace and safety.

Frequently Asked Questions
Aberdeen Interfaith is part of Interfaith Scotland. We are a group of people dedicated to promoting understanding and harmony among different communities through dialogue, events and education.
We do not limit the number of people who can join or represent a group but there are currently 17 faith communities represented in our Aberdeen Interfaith group. In our logo you may notice that there is one space left empty, this is because we can not fit all the symbols of every faith group in one logo, so the empty space is to represent all the other faith groups so that we stay inclusive of everyone.
You can participate in our events by checking our events page on our website and Facebook pages for upcoming events and email your interest through - interfaithab@gmail.com. Everyone is welcome to join and engage.
